We are wondering, what if we add a third day to the event dedicated to geeks, on October 2?

You have two possibilities for submitting a proposal : insert it in this wiki, using the Proposal Template, or send your proposal to proposals@openworldforum.org. All the proposals will be discussed by the OWF 2010 Program Committee on the third week of April 2010.

Here are some ideas:

  • open source Java (Java EE 6, Spring, GWT...) and alternative languages for the JVM (Scala, Clojure, JRuby...)
  • scripting languages summit (with OSDC)
  • cloud computing technologies
  • PHP / some PHP ecosystem project (Drupal / Joomla / ...)
  • OpenWeb (with the Mozilla Foundation, Google, etc.)
  • a demo session of innovative open source project (à la Demo)
  • a lightning talks session (à la Ignite or Pecha Kucha)
